Instructions
Whisk flour, sugar, and salt; cut in butter and Crisco until coarse crumbs form for crust.
Mix egg with ice water; form dough, roll out, and fit into a 9-inch pie dish. Chill.
Heat butter until golden and nutty aroma (~5 min); cool slightly.
Whisk eggs, add sugars, corn syrup, browned butter, milk, vanilla, salt, and flour; mix until smooth.
Fold in toffee bits and pecans; pour filling into crust. Bake at 400°F, then reduce to 350°F, bake 30-37 min, add streusel after 30 min.
Cool completely before slicing to set filling.
