A delicious homemade focaccia bread baked in a skillet, topped with Parmesan and herbs for a flavorful treat.
Ingredients
Dough

all-purpose flour

instant yeast

salt

sugar

warm water

Instructions
Mix flour, salt, yeast, sugar, warm water, and olive oil until a rough dough forms. Let rise in a greased bowl covered for 1-1.5 hours.
Punch down the dough, stretch to fit a greased skillet, and poke holes with fingers.
Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with Parmesan and herbs, then let sit for 20-30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the focaccia in the skillet for 20 minutes until golden and crispy.
Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add herbs or garlic before baking.
