Instructions
Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
Add warm water, melted butter, and egg (if using). Mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces, shape into buns, and place on a baking sheet. Optional: brush with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
