This soft and hearty oatmeal bread combines the wholesome goodness of oats with the warmth of freshly baked bread, perfect for breakfast or snacks.
Ingredients
Dough

warm milk

old-fashioned rolled oats

honey

old-fashioned rolled oats

Instructions
Combine milk and oats; let sit 30 min.
Add butter, honey, water, yeast, salt, flours; mix until combined.
Knead with dough hook for 8 min; let rise 60-90 min until doubled.
Shape into loaf, place in greased pan; let rise 20-30 min.
Brush with egg wash, sprinkle oats; bake at 350°F for 45-55 min.
Cool 15 min, then remove from pan; cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
