A quick and healthy flatbread recipe that skips yeast and baking, packed with protein and perfect for a quick snack or meal.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup plain thick yogurt (Greek yogurt preferred for higher protein)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2-4 tablespoons warm water (Add only if dough feels dry)

Optional Toppings

  • 2 tablespoons unflavored whey protein or chickpea flour (for protein boost)

Instructions

  • Mix flour, salt, baking powder, and optional protein powder in a bowl.
  • Add yogurt and oil; mix until crumbly, then knead into a soft dough. Add warm water if needed.
  • Divide dough into 6 balls, roll into thin rounds.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook flatbreads 1-2 minutes per side until golden and bubbly.
  • Brush with butter or oil, add herbs if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Using Greek yogurt increases protein content; adjust water as needed for dough consistency.
