Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb Beef strips sirloin or flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (Adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated

Cooked rice

  • 2 cups Cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 green onions chopped for garnish

Garlic Pepper Cream

  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice

Instructions 

  • Marinate beef with soy sauce, brown sugar, sriracha, sesame oil, garlic, black pepper, and ginger for 10 minutes.
  • Cook beef in a skillet until browned, then set aside.
  • Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, black pepper, and lemon juice to make garlic pepper cream.
  • Assemble rice bowls with cooked rice, beef, and garnishes; drizzle with garlic pepper cream.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
