  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger (Grated, adds zesty spice)
  • 0.5 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce (Umami backbone of the sauce)
  • 0.25 cup Gochujang Korean Chili Paste (Provides sweet, spicy, savory flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Brown Sugar (Balances saltiness and heat)
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar (Brightens flavors)
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper (Mild spice)
  • 4 cups Cooked Rice (Jasmine or Calrose, fluffy base)
  • 2 green onions Green Onions (Thinly sliced for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds (Adds nutty flavor and crunch)

Optional Toppings

Instructions 

  • Whisk soy sauce, gochujang, honey, and rice vinegar; set aside.
  • Heat sesame oil, sauté onion until translucent, then add garlic and ginger; cook until fragrant.
  • Add ground beef, cook until browned, then remove excess grease.
  • Pour sauce over beef, season with black pepper, simmer 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  • Serve beef over rice, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, add optional toppings.
