Enjoy a flavorful and spicy Korean-inspired beef noodle dish made quickly in your pressure cooker.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound flank steak thinly sliced against the grain
  • 2 tablespoons oil vegetable or canola
  • 4 tablespoons gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 2 tablespoons green onions thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 4 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 packages beef ramen noodles including seasoning
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 0.5 white onion thinly sliced
  • 0.5 cup mushrooms sliced

Instructions 

  • Set pressure cooker to sauté and heat oil. Add sliced beef and cook until browned.
  • Add garlic, ginger, gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and sliced onions; cook for 2 minutes.
  • Pour in water, add mushrooms, and noodles; stir well.
  • Close lid, set to high pressure, and cook for 3 minutes. Release pressure naturally.
  • Stir in sesame oil and green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra spice, add more gochujang or sliced chili peppers.
