A flavorful fusion dish combining spicy Korean ramen with tender grilled beef and a rich, creamy sauce.

Ingredients

Noodles

  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning)
  • 250 g beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil for grilling
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional) (for extra heat)
  • 1 piece green onion, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 piece soft-boiled egg (optional) (for topping)

Garnish

  • sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Marinate the beef by mixing gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar; add beef and marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  • Cook ramen noodles in boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil and grill marinated beef for 2-3 minutes per side until charred and cooked through.
  • In the same pan, simmer heavy cream and milk with cream cheese and chili flakes until thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Toss noodles in the sauce, then serve topped with grilled beef, green onions, sesame seeds, and a soft-boiled egg if desired.

Notes

For extra spice, add more chili flakes or gochujang to taste.
