A flavorful and easy-to-make bowl combining tender beef, vibrant broccoli, and a sweet-savory honey garlic sauce, served over rice.

Ingredients

For the Beef:

  • 450 g beef tenderloin, sliced into thin strips
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

For the Broccoli:

  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt to taste Salt

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

For Serving:

  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown, as per preference)
  • Sliced green onions (for garnish) green onions

Instructions 

  • Coat beef strips with cornstarch and let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Mix honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to make the sauce.
  • Cook beef in hot oil until browned, then add sauce and cook until thickened.
  • Steam or sauté broccoli with sesame oil for 5 minutes, season with salt and pepper.
  • Combine broccoli with beef, serve over rice, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For best results, use fresh broccoli and high-quality beef tenderloin.
