Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 2 cups steamed broccoli florets

Protein

  • 1 pound ground turkey, 93 percent lean

Carbohydrates

  • 4 cups cooked white or brown rice

Instructions 

  • Cook rice according to package instructions.
  • In a skillet, cook ground turkey until browned and cooked through.
  • Add teriyaki sauce to the cooked turkey and simmer for a few minutes.
  • Steam broccoli until tender.
  • Assemble bowls with rice, turkey, and broccoli. Drizzle with additional teriyaki sauce if desired.

Notes

You can substitute brown rice for white rice for added fiber.
