Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment or foil.
Melt chocolate and butter in a microwave or double boiler, then whisk until smooth.
Mix in sugar, vanilla, eggs, and egg yolk. Sift in flour, cocoa, salt; fold until just combined.
Stir in chocolate chips, pour batter into pan, and smooth the surface.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, cool for 2 hours, then cut into squares.
Notes
For best results, do not overbake to keep brownies fudgy.
