Ingredients

Fruits

  • 2 cups Fresh cherries, pitted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Almond extract

Topping

  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup Butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Almond extract
  • a pinch Salt

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix cherries, 2 tbsp sugar, and almond extract.
  • Combine oats, flour, sugars, almonds, and salt; cut in butter until crumbly.
  • Pour cherry mixture into baking dish; top with oat mixture.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  • Cool slightly before serving.
