Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 cup salted butter (melted and slightly cooled)
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 oz bittersweet baking chocolate (chopped)
  • ¾ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9" pan and line with parchment.
  • Mix melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  • Add sugars, then sift in cocoa powder and flour; fold until combined.
  • Fold in chopped chocolate and walnuts.
  • Pour batter into pan, bake for 25-30 minutes, then cool before serving.

Notes

For extra fudginess, slightly underbake and let cool in the pan.
