Delicious and easy-to-make raspberry jam bars with a buttery crumbly crust and sweet jam filling.

Ingredients

Dough and Crust

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (see notes)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Filling

  • 1 cup raspberry jam

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x9-inch pan.
  • Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix in flour and salt until crumbly.
  • Press about 2/3 of dough into the pan. Spread jam evenly over it.
  • Crumble remaining dough on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  • Cool completely, then slice into squares and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
